During April, new increases will be applied that will impact consumers' pockets. Some will be implemented tomorrow and others with the run of the month. Next, the lists of the obstacles planned in fuels, gas and subway passage.
This increase has already begun to govern this weekend due to higher taxes, crude oil and the rise in the dollar. While the Anglo-Dutch
Shell resolved a 9.5% increase on Saturday, Argentina
YPF raised 4.5% on average the price of its different products sold to the public from this Sunday.
With this increase, the Super Shell naphtha liter in the City of Buenos Aires will cost $ 49.98 for V-Power gasoline; $ 43.36 the super formula; $ 47.98 the V-Power diesel; and $ 41.39 the Diesel formula.
And in the case of YPF, the prices were as follows: the super-naphtha liter is now $ 40.43, the Infinia gasoline, $ 46.65; the diesel, $ 37.94 and the Infinia Diesel, $ 44.40.
Like its competitor, YPF explained that the main cause is the increase of 10% in the value of the dollar during the month of March. As anticipated, the variation is subject to the movement of the currency and to the price of Brent, the international price of the barrel of oil.
The increment is also related to the increase in fuel tax (ILC), which is updated by the cumulative inflation of the last quarter and that the Government decided to unfold between March and April. The first climb was made in early March.
In particular, it was decided that users receive the
tickets with an increase of 10% in April, from 9.1% in May and 7.5% in June, month in which they will be two-monthly monthly payments.
In addition, between June and September, the client will pay 88% of the total rate and the remaining 22% will be paid for tickets arriving in January, February, March and April, with summer consumption.
In this way, the 29% increase will not be reflected in rates until next October. On the invoice, the sum to be paid later will appear as "seasonal deferral".
As of April, the price of the passage from
subte will rise to $ 19 and the premetro will cost $ 7. The ticket had already risen in February to $ 16.50 ($ 6 the trip in premeter).
The date on which the adjustment was not yet defined, which was debated at public hearings. In May there will be a new increase, which will bring the value of the passages to $ 21 and $ 7.50, respectively.
Passengers who use more public transport will have discounts for the multimodal scheme of the Red PUJA model, introduced at the beginning of 2018. According to this modality, from the second passage – changing means of transport or line – is Pays 50% of the value, and in the following three, 25%.
