Rebel Wilson has revealed that she was abducted at gunpoint by a group of men from rural Africa.
The 40-year-old Australian actress appeared on the UK television special Ant Middleton and Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking, where she was interviewed by SAS Australia instructor Ant Middleton.
Middleton asked the Pitch Perfect star to talk about a time when he felt most afraid of his life, when Wilson detailed the creepy test.
He said he had been traveling with a group of women in Mozambique when they were ambushed by gunmen.
“We were in this cattle truck and these men came in another truck with a lot of weapons. (They crawled beside us) with big guns and said, “Yeah, you have to get off the truck,” he said.

Wilson said the group was taken to a house and stayed overnight.
“I felt very good in the crisis. I was like a team leader, ”he added.
“They sat us down and I said, ‘Everyone ties their arms,’ because at night I was petrified because they wanted to take some of the girls or something.”
Wilson said they were released the next day.
“They came and said, ‘Your truck is ready. You can go, go, go,'” he said.
“We just got on that truck and got out of there and crossed the South African border a few hours later.”
Although he still does not know why the kidnapping occurred, Wilson has developed his own theory.
“I think maybe those guys, maybe, used us to smuggle illegal stuff into the back of the truck,” he added.
He did not specify when the incident occurred.
Wilson and Middleton filmed the edition last year, which causes the couple to bond while traveling around Mexico with just a 4×4 and their backpacks.

Wilson started last year for his amazing 30kg weight loss, christening 2020 as “the year of health”.
He said his 40th birthday, in addition to suffering from mental health issues because of Hollywood’s attitude toward weight, had encouraged him to make healthier decisions.
“Strangely, this year would always be the year of health. Now I’ve been naming my years and, it’s kind of like having those resolutions, but all year long.
“It’s not like I want to lose weight and reach a certain number. It’s more than that.
“It’s about mentally dealing with why I overeat and had a job where I was paid a lot of money to be older sometimes, which can wrap my head around a bit.”
