The appeal of the Supreme Court of the Supreme Court against the defamation was rejected

The Hollywood star Rebel Wilson's hopes of returning her record-breaking libel prize from Bauer Media was toppled by the High Court.

The court returned a special leave to Wilson to fight her defamation against Bauer Media.

Wilson's lawyer appeared before the High Court in Canberra today seeking a special permit for appeals since she was forced to pay nearly 90% of her record $ 4.7 million to the publishing company Women who offended him.

But the court refused the application, with costs.

The statement of Bauer Media Group said that the issue has now been concluded.

"Bauer Media is pleased with the fact that the High Court has chosen to end this issue," said Bauer Media spokesman Adrian Goss.
