The case of Ieerongpilli: The man's legs broke 500 kg of concrete foil

MAN's legs were pulled down by concrete strips on a property in the south of Brisbane.

Paramedics were invited to Sodeen, Ieerongpilli, after reporting about 500 kg of concrete foil to an older man around 9.20.

A spokesman for the Emergency Service in Kueensland said the man had suffered "serious leg injuries", but was otherwise stable.

It is understood that construction works are completed on property, which are understood by emergency services residential property.

In a special incident, a man suffered a serious hand injury at a workplace incident in the north of Brisbane this morning.

Paramedics responded to the incident at Nudgee Rd, Nudgee, just before 9h.

A spokesman for the Emergency Service in Kueensland said the patient's hand was trapped in the truck door for up to 20 minutes.

A man, believed to be in the forties, suffered "significant" injuries and was taken to the Roial Brisbane Hospital in a stable state.
