Tristach: the life of a 67-year-old ski instructor demanded an avalanche in the Dolomites Lienz on Saturday afternoon. Starting with a Lavant companion, the place made a ski tour in the direction of Laserztörl. In the final part of the eastern side, shortly before 15 hours, an avalanche was broken that dragged the two men.
Although the former, 67, was completely buried, his 42-year-old colleague managed to stay in a block of stones and free himself without the help of the snow. Using his search device, he quickly localized his companion and dumped him. For 67 years of age, however, any help came too late. (TT.com)
