Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are more than co-hosts on "Morning Joe" on MSNBC. Now they are husband and wife.

The two journalists said "I" on Saturday before a small group of friends and relatives in the National Archives of Washington, the home of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

In the photos obtained by Vanity Fair, Brzezinski wore a white suit with a necktie and inch sleeves of designer Michelle Smith. Scarborough looked up in a black Zegna dress with a black tie.

The American representative Elijah Cummings of Maryland officiated the ceremony.

Scarborough and Brzezinski confirmed their commitment in May 2017, with just "Morning Joe".

Brzezinski told Vanity Fair that Scarborough's marriage proposal came during a trip to Antibes, France, in honor of its 50th anniversary. During a walk through the Mediterranean, he pretended that it was over and asked for a break. It was when he took the oval shaped diamond in platinum shape.

Brzezinski, the daughter of the national security adviser Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, was married to James Hoffer, TV journalist from 1993-2016. They have two children together.

Brzezinski and Scarborough say they did not act on their one-to-one feelings until their previous marriages ended.
