Mod creates "HD" Final Fantasy VII with neuronal networks AI

We have seen the original Doom He made "HD" using neuronal networks AI, now is the turn of Final Fantasy VII, with a mod for the PC version of the game creating funds that have 4x resolution.

The creator of the CaptRobau mod explains how it works:

The Remako HD Graphics Mod is a mod that completely renews the pre-selected antecedents of the classic JRPG Final Fantasy VII. All funds now have 4 times the resolution of the original.

Using the latest generation AI neural networks, this increase amounts to emulating the detail that the original renderers would have had. In this way, the new visual devices approach a higher resolution of the reproduction of the original as possible with the current technology.

It seems too good to be true, but just like with Doom, the results speak for themselves: the game's backgrounds really seem amazing, in a "that's how I remember them since 1997".

Here is a video that shows the mode in action, which compares the original background with the new HD versions:

And here are some moves:

The mod is still in beta, but it should work with any version of the game's PC. You can download it and try it here.
