Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 6:06 PM – Do not let them bite the mistakes of the bed, Hamilton, because they are out there.
Hamilton obtained the seventh position in a list of the main Canadian cities of the problem of the bed in 2018, according to the company of control of plagues Orkin Canada.
"Bed bugs are constant in Hamilton," said John Baardman, a local Orkin technician.
"The population does not go as far as I can see."

The list of the company is based on the amount of commercial and residential treatments that it made in 2018.
Toronto made the first place, followed by Winnipeg and after St. John's.
Terry Quinn, project manager of the city, said that Hamilton is not unique, since mistakes have been spreading in North America and affecting all cities.
The Orkin error ranking is not surprising, Quinn said, because Hamilton is among the ten largest cities in Canada, so "I hope we are in the top 10."
Bed bugs can happen to everyone and anywhere, he said, although they were more easily extended in multi-unit buildings, such as apartments, apartments and hotels.
But no one is immune to bites of insects.
"As long as there is a human that is sleeping, the chin will attack," Baardman said.

The critters feed on human blood and are "well adjusted to be with human beings," he added.

Quinn said the city began to see a resurgence of bed bugs during the last decade.
By the end of 2015, the city approved an error strategy of $ 1 million in bed.
Quinn said they had noticed changes in the conscience and the owner's action since the start of the strategy and expect to expand it until June 2019.
"It's an important issue," said Quinn. "It really depends on the construction of the building."

WHERE TO SEE
If you have errors in the beds, you may see a reaction on the skin, small black feces on the sheets and frames, and the same errors, according to Baardman.
"Bed bugs love cracks and cracks," he added, and they are especially frequent in the bed frames so people check the tufts and seams of their mattress and spring box.
The errors are also territorial and they happen in other parts of the bedroom as the population grows.
They can begin to live in the headboards, Baardman said, and behind images and mirrors, and, as the population is very large, they would find them in the curtains or in the windows and frames of the doors.
"It looks like this has a very serious infection, but it often happens," he said.
Bed bugs can happen to everyone, said city project director Terry Quinn. Unlike other pests, humans are their bait.
The city also recommends looking at the cracks in the bedroom socket, around the tables and night stands, and on the cracks and corners of the furniture, among others.
If you find bed bugs, Baardman recommends taking one and putting it in a plastic bag, so that the experts identify you.
DO NOT TAKE BAD ERRORS
Do you want to avoid unwanted pests? Next, keep in mind who is in your bed.
"A very common way to get bed bugs is to spend the night with someone who has them," Baaderman said.
And be careful with what you bring home, especially used items such as clothes, furniture or books thorns.

Among its recommendations, the city says that you check your luggage and wash and immediately dry all the clothes after returning from a trip.
Baardman also recommends keeping the site free of disorders.
"It's much easier to find bed bugs if you live in a simple environment."
THE GRASS LIGHTS ARE "GOOD HITCHICHERS"
If you think sheets or clothes are infested, Orkin Canada suggests drying them with as much heat as possible.
Bed bugs are "good hitchhiking", the company said, so "early detection is the best way to reduce the chances of an infestation."
Orkin Canada says the country's bed bug problems have grown in the last two decades. The traveler brings more opportunities for bed bugs, just like density in living and working spaces, a spokesman said.
Although Hamilton finished 13th on the 2017 list of the company, Baardman does not believe that the problem of city madness went worse last year, but believes that more people call theirs company
"It was very bad a few years ago and it is still very bad right now," he said.
Bed bugs are different from other types of pests, Quinn said.
"They do not come for the remnants of unhealthy food," he said. "They come for you".
