GENEVA – A woman who died due to Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo may have taken the deadly disease in Rwanda, according to a report by the Ministry of Health of Uganda published Thursday by the # 39; World Health Organization.
The woman, a fishmonger who vomited multiple times in a market in Uganda on July 11 before dying of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, said WHO Wednesday. The case increased the risk of spread of the disease in Uganda.
"When leaving Uganda, it is suspected that it has gone to Goma in the DRC and then to Gisenyi in Rwanda with unknown commercial interests," said the latest report. Rwanda has never had any recorded cases of Ebola.
