Panasonic looks for HomeHawk funds, a new standing lamp that includes an integrated camera. The product is invoiced as an alternative to existing home security cameras, one that is combined with the decoration and does not require mounting. The light offers the same series of security features as many competing models, but with the additional advantage of being essentially invisible.
Internal security cameras are a popular way to keep tabs of your children or pets, as well as control security issues and obtain images that may be useful for insurance claims. The disadvantage of these cameras is their obvious appearance, as well … a camera. Guests may feel uncomfortable with a visible camera nearby, mounting it can damage a wall and, independently of this, there is usually an unethical cable that needs to escape.
These are all the points Panasonic does to highlight the benefits of your HomeHawk Floor, an elegant light with a modern look and a small camera lens that looks at the top. The lens is set to the highest angle and the ideal angle to control the home itself, depending on the company, and also doubles as a light source.
HomeHawk Floor supports high definition video recording, motion detection, night vision, and integration with popular supporters. Since the camera is integrated into the light, there is a single power cord that comes out of the base that connects to the wall. Buyers can choose the options of 2ft, 4ft and 6ft.
Assuming the house loses its power for some reason, the camera will continue working up to 1.5 hours on backup batteries. Users can program and control light through a telephone or voice assistant, there is a 140 degree camera, and the videos are stored on a microSD card.
Panasonic is currently seeking financing for HomeHawk Floor in Indiegogo, where it offers a super fast bird version for $ 185 USD. It is hoping that shipping to backlays will start in May.
