This woman lost 120 pounds walking through her living room

Talk about a gym at home.

This grandmother, who was about 86 years old, passed a size 22 to 4 passing long walks in the morning, in her bedroom apartment.

"I chose to lose weight to get fat," says St. Mary's Grandmother. Louis, Jessica Slaughter, who lost 120 pounds with her daily routine of 3,000 steps between her kitchen and her living room.

This energy vision in purple sweats and sports shoes says he struggled with obesity for decades.

"Even when I was a little Mississipi, I was always the greatest boy in the class. I joked a lot," says KSDK News, its local subsidiary of NBC. "I did not know how to stop eating. Fried chicken. Bacon and eggs. Desserts, like pies and pastries."

The turning point of the elder of Mississippi: "I do not want to die like this."

Now, your refrigerator is full of vegetables, and not only is it committed to your walk-in routine, but also has abandoned alcohol and has gone to vegan. To help measure her progress, her granddaughter advised Slaughter to invest in a new technology: "[She] He told me: "Mom, get a Fitbit." I said: "What a devil is a Fitbit?"

As part of a growing silver wave of fit and easy elders, Slaughter expects other elderly people to continue and find hope in their example.

"I just want the elderly to know just because we have a certain age, we must not stop living," says Slaughter. "I want to tell you that there is a better way of life if you choose."
