Nicolás Jary (43rd) got a good start at ATP Doha. The Chilean won the Dutch Robin Haase (50 °) in the meeting valid for the first round of the competition for 6 (7) -7, 6-4 and 7-6 (4).
Nico started the encounter with the pressure of his rival from the start. In fact, in the first game he had to save a turning point to maintain his service, which he could not stand in the third game. Nevertheless, it was able to recover it in the sixth game to put the 3-3 on the scoreboard.
From here on, both tennis players kept the service until they forced him tie brek. In this instance, the Dutchman was 6-3 on top of Chile, who reacted and could be 6-7 up. In spite of this, the European took advantage of its service and the loss of the Chilean service to close the definition by 9-7.
Already in the second set, Jarry and Haase started correctly, preserving their services. This until the fifth game, when the Chilean was able to break the service to his rival and had enough to keep the same to be imposed by 6-4.
