Czech scientists have found the method of cheap production of reinforced nanoparticles and other materials useful for highly sensitive disease diagnosis, including carcinogenic diseases. Scientific journal Nature Communications published an article by scientists headed by Peter Cigler from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and Martin Hruby of the Institute for Macromolecular Chemistry.

Damage is most often caused by the radiation of the nanodoamant with high-speed ions in particle accelerators, but it is expensive and not a very effective method, because it does not allow the production of more materials. A team of scientists has released a new method of radiation in a nuclear reactor that is cheaper.

They used the way in which atomized pine atoms were broken up in neutron radiation in a reactor for light and fast flying helium and lithium ions, which have the same effect of controlled crystalline formation as the same ion that produces an accelerator.

However, the shower has a high density and much more material can be irradiated in the reactor, so that cheaper tens of grams of rare nanomaterials cost more than a thousand times more than the radiation in the accelerators.
