NASA reveals the truth about the earthquakes on Mars … and “mysterious roars”



The unmanned spacecraft, which landed on Mars in November 2018, initially captured a “mysterious roar” for space agency scientists.

The site “SignTech Daily scientific” said that the strength of earthquakes ranged from 3.1 to 3.3, while previous earthquakes were between 3.5 and 3.6.

The grunt was captured by a NASA albumin meter, specially designed to monitor the planet’s albumin, by a robotic arm that plunged into Mars, to protect it from monsoons for more accurate readings.

Earthquakes were detected in Cerberus Fossae, where scientists previously detected seismic activity and even landslides two years ago.

This area is known for its steep slope and the presence of volcanic plains, and there the landslides were controlled in 2019.

Scientists believe it is likely that the tremors were caused by a sudden release of energy below the planet’s surface, but given that Mars does not contain tectonic plates like Earth, the exact cause and origin of these vibrations.

The U.S. space agency said its vehicle had recorded 500 ground movements so far, but 4 of them were accurately monitored.

“Throughout the mission, we saw two different types of earthquakes on Mars: one‘ looks like the moon ’and the other‘ looks like the Earth, ’” he said.

He added that earthquake waves travel directly around the planet, while earthquake waves are usually very scattered.

“Earthquakes on Mars fall somewhere in between,” he said.
