Hazem Mounir, the president of the Egyptian Foundation for Training and Human Rights, said Egypt suffered from the problem of receiving foreign funds since 1982. He stressed that there is no country in the world that allows associations to receive money from abroad.

Munir added that the foreign financing of political parties is criminal in all countries of the world, especially in the United States.

He pointed out that in Egypt there is a recognition of 45 thousand civic associations, and the problems with these associations are limited to 16 associations.
