China's e-commerce platforms have been set on fire in the past for the transmission of low-quality and falsified items. Hong Tao, a professor of economics at the Technology and Business University of Beijing, said Singles Dai encouraged customers to prioritize cheap prices due to high quality, which led them to buy things they do not need.
