Former Deputy Chief of Intelligence Affairs of Ethiopia arrested: Attorney General



ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) – Former Deputy Chief of Ethiopian Intelligence has been arrested, Prosecutor General Berhar Tsegaie said in the latest of such a procedure against security officers for human rights violations and corruption.

"Police arrested a former NISS deputy and commissioner of the Federal Police Commission Iared Zerihun," Berhan Tsegaie told Twitter on early Thursday.

He did not reveal any details, but the arrest came after dozens of security officials were arrested for charges of human rights abuses and corruption.
