Microsoft: Fortune on Xbox One soon with the mouse and the keyboard

[ad_1]

From next week you can control Fortune on Xbox One with your mouse and keyboard. Microsoft announced this as part of the Fan Fest Ks018 in Mexico. Shooter Fortney is one of the most popular video games ever. This is next to a cooperative Warframe Shooter one of the two titles that can be done next week on Xbox by using the mouse and the keyboard.

According to Microsoft, all November bombing crews, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Vermintide 2, Var Thunder and Ks-Morph Defense pull together. Later, Children Morte, DaiZ, Minion Master, Moonlighter, Vigor, Varface and Vargroove follow. From next week, however, all developers should have the opportunity to customize their game on the mouse and the keyboard.

This step is completely optional, Microsoft said in September. Microsoft gives developers the ability to include mouse and keyboard support in their game as an alternative to gamepad – not as a replacement. Finally, the decision lies with developers.

Basically, the mouse and keyboard are already working on Xbox. At the operating system level, users can enter and send messages using the keyboard. Using adapters that translate the keyboard to virtual input gamepads, you can now control games using the mouse and the keyboard. However, this method does not work perfectly.

For years, Microsoft has promised full support of the mouse and keyboard on Xbox – now the company finally puts this step in practice. Mouse and keyboard are more accurate than gamepad controls in many games, especially for shooters. In competitive online shooters, mice players have a significant advantage.

In other genres, including sports and combat games, game bags are often in front of the packaging due to the nuance of controlling the stick and easily accessible buttons and triggers. Also, since the gamepad is easier to use on the sofa, it will still be the standard input method on Xbox.

To solve this problem, players can be sent to separate servers using a mouse, which still splits the player's base. How it will be handled in Xbox is lying with the appropriate developers.
