An Indian citizen and three people of Indian origin have been killed in Cincinnati in the United States, and the police are investigating there, according to Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.
However, Sushma Swaraj ruled out the possibility of a hate crime.
"Indian Ambassador to the United States @IndianEmbassyUS has reported on the murder of four people in Cincinnati on Saturday evening," sent to Twitter Sushma Swaraj.
"One of them was an Indian citizen on a visit to the US, while others were people of Indian origin," he added.
The police investigate the matter, but it is not a crime of hate, Swaraj said.
"Our general consul in New York is coordinating with the authorities concerned and will keep me informed about this," he said.
