Emmerdale confirms the departure of Robert Sugden


It's official: Emmerdale Robert Sugden will be dismissed.

The soap has refused to comment on weeks about the speculation that Ryan Hawley would leave the ITV series later, but the producers were finally cleaned up during a chat with Digital spy and other media on Tuesday (July 9).

"Ryan Hawley is leaving the show – it's been great for five years with him and you'll find it a lot to miss," said Laura Shaw. "There is still time with him on the screen, but over time, it means that our beloved Robron will be separated."
