Giovanni Pernice and Faie Tozer undoubtedly expected a standard conversation Strictly come to dance when they appeared on This morning Sofa.
And while they got them, Phillip Schofield could not help but confirmed the unexpectedly battered question about rumors of Gianni's personal life at the end of today's (November 8th) interview.
As they talked about Blackpool Sunday at the BBC show this weekend, Phil immediately replaced the issue with the dancers: "How is Ashley?"
Somewhat cracked Giovanni asked "who?" Before Phil replied his name.
Still confused, Giovanni once again asked Ashley, the leader who explains: "Yes, Roberts, how is it?"
"I think it's great, it's modern this week," Giovanni said. "Everyone works very, very well. Why are you asking me about Ashley?"
"Well, there were some rumors and things that were moving," Phil explained, although Giovanni hit back, saying, "According to the press, a changed girl every day."
Without restraint, Phil continued: "But have you settled on Ashley?"
"No, we are really good friends," the dancer discovered. "She's a wonderful person, but I'm alone. I'm in Nevada every day, so there's no chance for me."
"So, just the girls in Nevcats who stand?" Phil joked, although Giovanni made it clear that he was "sorry to disappoint you."
As they completed the interview, they continued to send out about Gianni's romantic life and talk about women in Blackpool, and they were not able to resist the other digger's dig, Phil said: "Ashley will be there."
Even Rochelle Humes tried to get Phil into his box and joked: "He is wrong, is not he?"
This morning working days at ITV at 10.30, doc Strictly come to dance continues this Saturday on BBC One.
