The new ENYAQ iV SUV will soon arrive at Italian dealerships, sales will begin on Monday 25 January and for Skoda a new and fundamental chapter of its history. The first 100% electric SUV will initially be sold in Italy in the variants of 60 iV with 62 kWh battery and 80 iV with 82 kWh battery, for 39,500 euros and 45,900 euros.
Considering the size, range and content, the new electric SUV is current it has no direct competitors in the Italian market. In addition, ENYAQ iV fully benefits from state incentives that aim to support zero-emission mobility. In case of scrapping, the discount of the list price reaches 10,000 euros. Without scrapping, the incentive drops to 6,000 euros. To these, regional incentives can be added.
Skoda ENYAQ 60 iV has a battery of 62 kWh (58 kWh net) and a power of 177 hp (132 kW). Sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds, autonomy the maximum declared in the WLTP cycle is 414 km. The 80 iV variant has a higher capacity battery of 82 kWh (77 kWh net) and a power of 204 hp (150 kW). The most powerful model goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.5 seconds and reaches a maximum range of 537 km in the WLTP cycle. For both, traction is rearward and top speed is electronically limited to 160 km / h.
The new SUV (introduced to the world last September) is designed to move easily both in the city and on longer trips. As is typical of all Skoda, the car offers important safety and connectivity features included in the price.
Among the main ones active security technologies standard in ENYAQ 60 iV are Front Assistant with automatic braking and pedestrian and cyclist recognition, Lane Assistant for lane maintenance, Collision Avoidance Assistant and Cruise Control, two-zone climate control, rear parking sensors and light clusters front and rear completely LED.
The 13 “dashboard screen is standard, the largest ever proposed by the House; the entertainment system can be controlled both with gesture commands and through the Laura digital voice assistant, it can manage up to 8 different devices connected via wi-fi. ENYAQ 80 iV adds to these functions the front parking sensors and the rear camera, the selection of driving modes Select the driving mode, the heated capacitive multifunction steering wheel with paddles for the management of regenerative braking.
The SUV, whose reservations had already begun last year, is also sold with wiring to charge on the public network or for home use with Mode 3 wireless wall boxes. Skoda offers a wide range of packages which allow the customer to configure their electric SUV according to their personal needs and tastes. The new model accepts charging up to 100 kW for the 62 kWh battery and up to 125 kW for the 82 kWh battery. When charging quickly, the largest battery goes from 5% to 80% in just 38 minutes. List prices, as we have seen, will start at 39,500 euros.
