Apple has updated its support page showing: Devices that support spatial audio playback He appears to have changed his plans to Apple Music or the information he posted at the time was incorrect. We will never know.

Initially, this support page was for older devices, such as iPhone XR and iPad Air 3 were compatible. I use it with Apple Music space audio, but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case after updating this support page.

The first version of the Apple Music space audio support page can find the following devices:

the built-in speaker iPhone XR or later (except iPhone SE), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (first generation and above), 11-inch iPad Pro, iPad (first generation and above), ipad air (first generation and above) or iPad mini (first generation).

After updating our support page, we have fewer devices that will not shut down. 3rd generation iPhone XR and iPad Air among others.

built-in speaker iPhone XS or later (except iPhone SE), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (Third generation or more), 11-inch iPad Pro O ipad air (4th generation).

after this update It does not support space audio Apple Music is:

  • iPhone XR
  • iPad mini 5
  • iPad 6
  • iPad 7
  • iPad 8
  • 3rd generation iPad Air

Initially, this same support page pointed to: The iPhone 7 also supports space audio, was soon modified to include the iPhone XR and later as barriers to entry.

For now, the Apple Music website Delete this changeBut only a few days ago Apple updated the website with these changes.
