The Russian motorcycle engine manufacturer, Ural, does not intend to lag behind world trends and has created a prototype of its electric motorcycle model, developed with Zero Motorcicles and ICG.
The electric motorcycle is based on the Ural CT model, electric motors, batteries and electronic components used by Zero Motorcicles, while California ICG is responsible for the design and development of the first concept.
The Ural ecological engine is equipped with an electric motor Z-Force 45 kilowatts (61 Zs; 110 Nm) and a battery of 19.5 kilowatts, which can provide a rotational march of about 165 km. Prototype built-in charger that provides power from the mains supply and charging up to 95% during 13 hours.
Ural claims that the electric motor accelerates rapidly, but does not disclose accurate data. The prototype is known to have a maximum speed of 140 km / h, but the manufacturer recommends – 105 km / h.
Let's say Zero Motorcycles offer four models of electric motorcycles, but the legendary Harlei-Davidson has just introduced its first electric motorcycle.
