Makima Latvia has invested more than 1.4 million euros in the renewal, improvement and improvement of the energy efficiency of these stores.

Reconstruction works started in mid-July this year. In the four-month period, in the Makima Ks store of 849m2 in Maza Nometnu iela 29b, internal engineering networks were replaced, as well as completely restored spaces. The total investment in the renovation of the shop was about 660 thousand euros.
In the shop "Makima KSKS" on the Kurzemes prospectus, during the reconstruction project, renovation of internal and municipal networks was carried out, and the energy efficiency of the building was significantly improved.
This store not only has an energy-efficient LED lighting installed in a commercial hall of 1700 m2, but also the first chain of Makima Latvia, which saves the environment and energy-efficient cooling systems that are fully operational without the use of freon.
In addition, works on interior decoration were done in other shopping centers. The total area of the building is 4069 m2, and the investment for its reconstruction project amounted to 830 thousand euros.
Makima Latvia offers 71 jobs in both stores – 13 people work in Maza Nometnu iela 29b and 58 workers are engaged in shops on Kurzemes prospectus 141.
Both Makima shops are part of Makima Latvija's investment program this year in order to improve customer experience, investing more than 23 million euros in total.
As part of the program, 15 stores in Riga and regions will be reconstructed by the end of the year, and at least 5 new stores of different sizes will open across Latvia.
