Manchester City announce contract renewal for Belgian player Kevin De Bruyne following City’s victory over Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester City announced on Wednesday the renewal of the contract of Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne until 2025.
The announcement comes after City’s 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
“Signing this contract was an immediate decision,” De Bruyne, 29, said after signing the new contract. “This team was created to be successful. It gives me everything I need to improve my performance.”

De Bruyne joined Manchester City in 2015 from Wolfsburg, Germany, and had previously played for Chelsea.
De Bruyne has scored 8 goals and scored 16 more in 33 games this season.
With City, he also won the “Premier League” title twice, the FA Cup once and the League Cup four times.
