Ford wants you to know that the Ranger can "tow everything you want." To demonstrate this, the commercial shows the collection of medium size towing a convoy of 44,092 books and 328 feet of 15 caravans on a public highway near Millbrook Prova land in the UK without breaking the sweat. It took a month to prepare the stun, and the caravans had to be reinforced with steel frames and equipped with front and rear tow bars.
"This was the slowest trick I've ever done, but also one of the most difficult," explained the Paul Swift precision pilot who led the Ranger to the video. "Trying to keep the caravans in a straight line and tight while the car was challenged, and one that really demonstrates the Ranger's capabilities."
