Wales international defender Hallam Amos announced his retirement at the end of the season at the age of 27 on Thursday to focus on his medical career.
“After a decade in professional rugby, the 2021/2022 season will be my last,” the Cardiff Blues player wrote on his Instagram account.
“I always intended to finish when I finished my degree and this season happily coincides with the final year of my medical studies, so it’s a perfect time for a transition from the playing field to the hospital.” he added.
Hallam Amos wore the Wales jersey 25 times, with which he made his debut at the age of 19 against Tonga. His last match was against Argentina last July.
