Cameroon fought to beat Zimbabwe in the opening of the CHAN.

Salomon Banga scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute, with an assist by Yannick Ndjeng to offer the host country a first victory in this African Nations Championship reserved for local players. Cameroon is doing a good job. During the last edition in Morocco, the Cameroonians left the group stage by finishing in last place in their group.
