The High Commission for Planning (HCP) on Friday released a new version of its annual report on the state of women in Morocco entitled “Moroccan Women in Figures: 20 Years of Progress”. This new version of the annual publication “Moroccan women in figures” is a collection of statistical data describing the evolution of the situation of Moroccan women in various areas, in the form of data, graphs and infographics, indicates the HCP in a press release.

Published on the occasion of National Women’s Day, celebrated on October 10, the same source specifies that this new report presents figures broken down by sex, both nationally and in urban and rural areas.

The data contained in the report comes mainly from statistical surveys and censuses conducted by the HCP and from statistics produced by ministerial departments.

The HCP, which monitors the evolution of the situation of women, provides decision-makers, users and civil society actors with relevant information for better decision-making in public policy decisions, the press release concludes.
