The Commission for the production of cinematographic works decided to approve advances on receipt of several film and documentary projects for the third session of 2018, held from 12 to 16 November in Rabat, under the chairmanship of Driss Alaoui Mdaghri.
In the category of films after production, the film "Taki Bied" is directed by Moncef Malzi and 150,000 DH in the short films "Angoisse" by Ali Benjelloun and "Roujoula" by Ilias El Faris, said the statement of the Moroccan Film Center (CCM).
As for pre-production film projects, a total of 4,150,000 DH will be assigned to the projects of the feature films Wind Rider, which will be directed by Anouar Mouatassim and La vie moi va bien directed by Al Hadi Ulad Mohand. In the same category, a sum of 4.100.000 DH, 3.600.000 DH and 1.950.000 DH are dedicated to film projects "Green Card" Mohamed Hicham Regragui, "Le Mont Moussa" by Driss Mrini and "Heaven is Dark", which will lead by Joseph Bull and Luke Seomore.
Still in this genre, the car of 150,000 dirhams and 200,000 dirhams receive short film projects "Dear father" by Kalil Hassani and "What is important if the animals die" by Sofija Alaoui.
As for documentary films about culture, history and space before the production of Saharavi Hasan, for the documentary Ali Oualdah "Calendar without figures", "Li Attarikhi the man of the Jah" was awarded 1,000,000 DH, Drissi Sidi Mohamed, "Esmara, Bavh Soukhour Bi Asrar Al Ousour, directed by Lhassan El Omari and Rihlat Al Baht Ani Arrabaid Taoufik Charaf-Eddine.
In this same category, the number of 875,000 DH was awarded to Sidi Mohamed Fadel El Joummani's Salem Ballal and "Ain Abarbor" documentary films "Sourrat Assaif".
In addition to the Chairperson, the Commission consists of: Amina Saibari, Latifa Baka, Meriem Khatouri, Fatima Ait Mhand, Laila Tounzi, Mrabih Rabou Maou Laenin, Mohammed Bakrim, Abderrazak Ezzahir, Mohamed El Kadmiri, Driss Tahri and Abdelhak Fikri.
