Vitesse has given Miquel Nelom the opportunity to apply a contract. Feyenoord's outward player acts as a test player with the Arnhem team, the club reports through the official channels.
Arnhem people are still looking for a defender and Nelom can prove that it is worth a contract. The back is in line with Thursday's selection. For Vitesse, Nelom would be, in any case, a cheap option: after a failed adventure at Hibernian FC, Nelom does not have any club.
Nelom, 28, who has two international titles, already played in the Netherlands for Feyenoord, Excelsior and Sparta. Last year he signed a season with the Scottish Hibernian, but this adventure did not work. In total, Nelom only played three league matches for Hibernian.
Vitesse was already reinforced in the rear this summer with Thomas Hajek (Viktoria Pilzen) and Armando Bishop (leased to PSV).
