Marco Rojas has been taken to hospital with facial lacerations after hitting a high boot in the Melbourne Victory victory match against the Western Sydney Wanderers on Wednesday night.

The All Whites star was left bleeding and had to be replaced in the middle of the first half after a disgusting challenge with Wanderers midfielder Rangers captain Graham Dorrans.

Victory’s next match will be against Wellington Phoenix in Melbourne next Wednesday.
