The game today (Mall of Asia Arena)
2 p.m. – LSGH vs. Mapua (Jrs)

La Salle Greenhills and Mapua will decide on finals that will wear the crown when they clash for the last time today at the NCAA Junior Basketball Final at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The game is at 2 o'clock. with defending champion Zelenyi looking for crowns and Red Robins in search of avoiding the same fate that they had last season.

Momentum is now on map of Mapua after Red Robins presented their best of three scandals last week, 85-76. LSGH went to the opener 74-69.

Red Robins want history to not be repeated as they face a familiar scenario. Last year they also won Game 2 after losing Game 1 just to lose in place in the decisive 3rd game.

"We learned from this experience and we hope that this time we will make a different result," said Mapua Randi Alcantara coach, adding that their efforts in Game 2, where they were pushed without the injured main clown Clint Escamis, would be their inspiration.

Escamis expected to sit back with knee injury again, Mapua will look for Paolo Hernandez, Jonel Policarpia and Dan Arches to strengthen.

LSGH will, in the meantime, rely on The Most Valuable Player Joel Cagulangan, Inand Fornillos and Mark Sangco.
