The OPPO smart device brand is manifesting behind Philippine sports

The local sports scene added new support with global smart device brand OPPO, which partnered with Mineski Philippines for various activities and programs this year.

The collaboration is based on OPPO’s mobile phone innovations and Mineski’s experience in sports and gaming and aimed at growing the thriving sports industry in the Philippines.

OPPO will participate, among other things, in the realization of the largest mobile gaming tournaments in the country: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League and the Philippine part of the League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series.

While supporting sport is nothing new for OPPO, having supported FC Barcelona and Wimbledon, the partnership with Mineski makes the smart device brand excited to see it as an opportunity to help sports in the country and at the same time show even more what OPPO products are capable of.

“Gaming is a major source of entertainment among younger Filipino consumers, with 74% of the country’s online population engaged in mobile gaming. OPPO is fully committed to supporting the growing sports industry by providing pro-gamers and fans with the best gaming platforms and mobile phones that can provide them with an excellent mobile gaming experience, ”said Raymond Xia. marketing director of OPPO Philippines, at the association’s virtual press conference last Thursday.

The OPPO official went on to say that he had the devices to provide mobile players with the best gaming experience.

Among these is the A92, which is part of the A-Series, the variety of smartphones that is being promoted as a “source of entertainment.” It’s packed with gaming-capable features, such as 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM for a smoother gaming experience. It is also programmed with the latest OPPO Game Boost 2.0 game feature to enhance the screen and touch experience while playing.

Other series of smartphones that OPPO guarantees to have the best and most immersive mobile game are the new Reno5 4G and Reno5 5G.

For Mineski, having OPPO on board is a welcome development on his part.

“Having OPPO on board is very significant. They have the products that complement the sports community and their presence validates what we try to do at Mineski, ”said Mark Navarro, country director of Mineski Philippines.

“Our partnership with OPPO is a big step forward in our drive to deliver excellence to Filipino players. OPPO’s support for our leagues ensures that players from different walks of life experience professional-level sports at all levels of competition, ”he added.

In addition to collaborating in tournaments, OPPO is also a sponsor of Liyab Sports and signed on to be one of the sponsors of the National Interschool Cyber League, one of the main projects in Mineski’s Youth Sports Program.
