“The Senior Voice.” A moving story of a participant. He learned to play the accordion in an orphanage
In Saturday’s episode of “The Voice Senior,” Teresa Kuczer of Przemyśl stole the hearts of the jurors, whose performance began by telling a children’s story. The woman fondly remembered her parents, describing them with the words “mummy” and “father.” Music has always prevailed in his home. The mother sang and the father played the accordion and the violin. She died when she was eleven years old. After the death of her husband, the mother of several children received only a small pension and could not cope financially. A year later, Teresa and her siblings were moved from their mother and transferred to an orphanage. She loved her children very much and visited them often, carrying an accordion with her. Teresa learned to play it when she was 12 years old. He dreamed of getting married and starting a happy family. He faced a difficult decision: he could dedicate himself to music or fulfill his dream of a normal house. In short, he never found the right time to take his passion seriously. He sang in and out for a total of 50 years. His time had finally come. In “The Voice Senior” she performed Katarzyna Sobczyk’s song “Don’t Worry About Me”. Izabela Trojanowska was the only one who turned around during the performance.
There was real happiness and this is proof that this program has a right to exist – said Andrzej Piaseczny.
Relatives of the participants mentioned that the woman was very happy, because after many years she had the opportunity to fulfill her dreams from her youth. They were very proud of her.
