The Volkswagen Tarok concept was presented at the Sao Paolo Car Show. Pick-up with the cabindouble, 5 meters long and the drive on all-wheel drive also offers the option of expanding the load.
The Volkswagen Tarok is built of scratches and fused, promises Volkswagen, a lifestyle design in tandem with the practical advantages of such a vehicle.
Tarok has variable load. The bumper surface can be extended by opening the rear part or a new mechanism that allows the lower part of the rear panel to be folded. Therefore, very long objects can be placed there.
The interior is another step ahead of Volkswagens in the pick-up segment and one very brave. Digital panel, Cipress Metallic accents, multimedia glass screen, digitally controlled air conditioners create a modern space.
The Tarok concept is powered by a 1.4-liter four-cylinder TSI engine producing 150 hp. the production version will get a 2.0-liter turbo unit of the same power. The drive is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and sends power to all four wheels through the 4MOTION integral drive system.
Unfortunately, the Volkswagen Tarok will not reach us, at least not in the near future. The model is reserved for the Brazilian market.
