The new therapy has already shown successfully in the fight against the progressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma – tumors of lymphatic tissues, which are not usually practically susceptible to treatment. Currently, doctors continue to experiment, trying to suppress themselves similarly and other forms of cancer "stubborn."

On paper, it seems quite simple: remove your own T-cells, fill them with "chemical weapons" in the form of a medication and voila: the armed agents themselves will be in search of a threat. However, it turned out to be very difficult to teach these cells to recognize the threat to the practice.

Tumors are cleverly masked using the so-called immunological control points (TIC), a kind of markers on cell membranes that assure the immune system that is facing the most common cells that do their work and are at their place The new immunotherapy blocks these signatures and allows T cells to do their work. Of course, depending on the type of cancer, this process can take place with varying degrees of success. For example, these non-Hodgkin lymphomas should be, in theory, an excellent candidate for such simple healing, but at the beginning, cancer almost did not respond to therapy. But this problem was solved thanks to two stimulants.

A stimulant is needed to attract dendritic cells to the tumor. The second activates them and makes them produce special chemicals, called antigens, on their surface. Desired posters look and help T cells and other elements of the immune system to identify the enemy.

As a result, the number of remission of cancer in animal testing has doubled, while human trials are currently in the active phase and have already shown the first positive results.
