Samsung will hold its second Unpacked event this year on August 11, during which new flexible phones, Galaxy Buds2 headphones and smart watches are expected to be unveiled. Many believed it would be presented during the event Galaxy S21 FE but it doesn’t seem to be happening.
According to the LetsGoDigital website, which claims to have an idea of Samsung’s documentation, the Galaxy S21 FE will not be unveiled as part of Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event.
This report coincides with previous allegations in June, when it was suggested that the S21 FE would not be released during the next event. Recent reports indicate that the cheaper Galaxy S21 phone will not be introduced before October and maybe even later.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to have a 6.4-inch FullHD + Super AMOLED panel, with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will support Android 11 from the start and will have a plastic back. The phone will run the Snapdragon 888 chipset and there may be a variant with the Exynos 2100 chip. The phone appeared in gray, white, purple and green.
