Apple finds quality problems in some models of the iPhone X and MacBook

REUTERS: Apple Inc. announced on Friday that it has found some problems that have affected some of its iPhone X and 13-inch MacBook Pro products and said the company will fix them for free.

The bidding for repairs is the latest in a series of product quality problems over the past year, even when Apple has increased prices for most of its laptops, tablets and phones to new heights. Its top iPhones are now selling for as much as $ 1,449, and the best iPad goes for as much as $ 1,899.

Apple said the iPhone X, which was announced in 2017 with an initial $ 999, may experience touch problems due to component failures, adding that these parts will be replaced for free. The company said it only affects the original iPhone X, which was replaced by the iPhone KSS and KSR released this fall.

Screens on affected phones may not respond correctly to the touch or they could react even without touch, says Cupertino from California.

For 13-inch MacBook Pro computers, it has been said that the problem can lead to data loss and failure of the data storage device. Apple said it would service the encrypted devices.

Apple has limited the limited number of 128GB and 256GB solid-state drives in 13-inch MacBook Pro devices sold in the period from June 2017 to June 2018, Apple announced at https: //

Last year, Apple began a mass replacement of batteries after it acknowledged that the software update was intended to help some models of iPhone that are battery-starving slow down the performance of the phone. The confusion of the battery has resulted in questions from US legislators.

Apple said in June that it would offer free keyboard replacement in some MacBook and MacBook Pro models. Keyboards, introduced by Apple on laptops since 2015, have appealed to social media about how much noise they made during typing and unexpected malfunctioning. Apple changed the keyboard design this year, adding a layer of silicone under the keys.
