Bafan Bafan Baffan Shaun Bartlett is among those who support South Africa in front of Nigeria's "key" qualifiers in 2019 against Nigeria.
Bartlett played against Super Eagles in the international friendly match on November 17th and scored the first of two goals in the Bafane win of 2-1.
The 46-year-old who is currently director of the University of Pretoria F.C. is one of several South African football personalities who have invited fans to come out massively for the team.
In a video of 16 seconds shared on the official social media account of Bafan Bafan, the ex-star called for support:
Hi, Shaun Bartlett here. I would like to invite all South African fans to come and support Buffalo Buffalo in a key match against Nigeria in our qualification search for Cameroon 2019. Please fill in the FNB Stadium. Come show your love.
Bafana led by Stuart Bakter won the first game in Uio, but have since seen their campaign to slowly reach the 32nd edition of AFCON.
Nigeria is at the top of Group E with 9 points and only three points are needed to secure a place in the next tournament, but South Africa has a climbing climb.
People's bacteria are the other on the table; one point from Nigeria, but faced a fierce test against three-time African winners on November 17 and the victorious side of Libya on March 22, 2019.
South Africa wants its fate in its hands and knows that the victory against Nigeria will almost certainly guarantee the map for Afcon in Cameroon.
