On Wednesday at a press conference for the upcoming ONE: Heart Lion Event, ONE announced two eight tournament men (men and light). Each tournament will be a one-off elimination, and throughout the year will be held quarter-finals, semifinals and finals that are held on separate events.

Current world champions with organizations can join the field, per ONE CEO of Chatri Sitiodtong, but the contestants are not yet finished. The matches will depend on the results of the upcoming fight, such as the ONE Lightweight title match between Eduard Folaiang and Amir Khan in ONE: Winning the Champion on November 23 in Manila.

The lightweight tournament will be Alvarez, former Bellator and UFC champion. He did not speak at the tournament, but he did another one-time athletic at the ONE Championship. Former UFC soccer champion, Johnson, who recently acquired a deal with UFC for Ben Askren, was at the helm.

"When I had the opportunity to become an ONE athlete, I could not miss this opportunity," said Johnson. "Now that they have announced the World Grand Prix for the men's division, it was always my dream to compete in Asia at the Grand Prix, I will give it my best I will not make any shortcuts I'm going to train my ass I'll come here and hope The goal is to be a champion. I know this wonderful weight – & nbsp;Gay [Eustaquio], & nbsp;Kairat [Akhmetov], & nbsp;[Danny] Kingad & nbsp;Adriano Moraes, these guys are solid, but I'm looking at those guys. "

Both Alvarez and Johnson are likely to be favorites for winning their tournaments, but we still need to see which fighters meet the brackets. ONE can not be done by acquiring talent, and the current members of their list likely will see the perspectives of dealing with newcomers as challenges.

Since more tournaments information becomes available, I will have & nbsp; details.
