Scotland added six to the November international team – Rugby

Tovnsend switched over after a disappointing 21-10 loss to Valencia in Cardiff over the weekend with a side that was missing from many regular players since the game fell outside a certain international window.

An English couple released by Josh Strauss and Flihalf Duncan Veir have been included and have not been named in the original team called last month.

Wayne did not play for Scotland since March 2017 and will provide a competition for Finn Russell and Adam Hastings from France in jersey number 10, and others started against Wales.

Also included are Glasgow Varriors quartet Adam Ashe (free), Scott Cummings (lock), Nick Grigg (center) and Stuart Hogg (full-back).

Flanker Ashe last played for Scotland in 2015 but was rewarded for a good form this season, while Grigg and experienced Hogg played against Argentina in June. 21-year-old Kummings will look for the first cap.

Prop Gordon Reid, actor Greig Laidlaw, anterior back Sean Maitland, Chris Harris center and wing Biron McGuigan are also able to connect with the team this week due to an open international window.

The Scottish Rugby Union confirmed that the wings Blade Thomson (head) and center James Lang (the ribs) were left out of the squad for injuries, while wings David Denton and center Scott Scott continued to recover from head injury.

Ross Ford (whore), Henry Pirgos (scrum-half) and Dougie Fife (wing) were released back to the Edinburgh club.

After Fiji, Scotland will be host to South Africa and Argentina on weekends. (Reporting to Nick Said; Editing by Mark Potter)
