Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent have reportedly broken a deal with Juventus when he signed Manchester United last month.
Ronaldo’s whirlwind at Old Trafford took place in the last week of the transfer window.
Once that became clear Ronaldo had decided to leave Turin, United moved quickly, although Manchester City seemed the favorite to sign the 36-year-old.
United soon announced that they had reached an agreement to return to Portugal at the club with the agreement of personal conditions, a doctor and a visa.
And Juve confirmed that United were paying £ 12.86 million for Ronaldo plus £ 6.86 million in potential add-ons, in a statement issued earlier in the transfer deadline.
And the striker has already started paying that fee with four goals in three games.
But Ronaldo’s departure has left a hole in the old lady’s attack after Jorge Mendes broke a promise with Juve.
Ser ‘s Carousel Confidential Chain, via Witness the sport claim that Ronaldo Mendes’ agent reached an agreement that his client would only leave before August 15th.
This would leave Juve a chance to replace him. After this cut, Ronaldo was supposed to stay in place so that Juve would not fall short in attack.
The picture changed though after Ronaldo started on the bench against Udinese in Serie A on 22 August.
This was apparently the straw that broke the camel’s back and that “accelerated everything” and “broke the pact.”
And once Ronaldo’s decision was made, there really was only one place to go, especially when PSG distanced themselves from a play.
The transfer has severely affected Juve. They remain unbeaten in Serie A and are in the top three with just two points. They have also scored just four goals in the league.

Furious Juve legends
The story fits with the anger that Juve legends have Alessio Tacchinardi and Sergio Brio have done the voice recently.
Tacchinardi said All sports: “Ronaldo should have left in a different way, not on his private plane while (Massimiliano) Allegri was talking to the team before the match against Empoli.
“I was waiting for a press conference to say goodbye to the fans. They deserve something different.
“There are no more legends like this [Alessandro] De l’Piero, [Francesco] Totti, [Paolo] Maldini o [Javier] Zanetti, however, was not pleasant to hear of Ronaldo returning to a place where he feels at home.
“He put Juventus in a difficult situation, leaving a few days before the end of the transfer window, it is impossible to replace a goal machine like him.”
Four-time Serie A winner Brio, 65, added: “Juventus deserve more respect, they didn’t expect Ronaldo to be so good at the club. It wasn’t nice for him. “
