Bratislava, November 9 (TASR) – From January to the end of September this year, 5,850 tourists arrived in Prague, which is 2.4 percent more than in the same period last year.
The number of visitors in the country continues to increase, as well as the number of inhabitants of Ukraine, China, India and Taiwan.
From the Czech Republic, almost five million visitors arrived in the capital of the Czech Republic, another in comparison to 2017. Domestic visitors recorded 870,000, an increase of 11% over the previous year.
Guests in the city spent 13.6 million overnight stays, which is 0.8% more than last year. The average overnight stay was 2.3 nights. The longest stay were visitors from Russia, Israel, Italy and Spain.
In the long run, most tourists arrive in Prague from Germany, the United States, Great Britain, Russia, China, Italy and South Korea. In nine months, visitors from Israel, South and Central America and the Nordic countries have been stopped. From the second quarter, guests from Russia are reporting.
