Lack of cannabis in Canada after legalization – News

In most countries of the world, cannabis is still banned, including Sweden. The Swedish Drug Law prohibits any contact with drug-based medicines, such as cannabis.

However, a number of countries are now discussing the mitigation of rules or have already introduced them.

Uruguay has legalized the cultivation, sale and smoking of marijuana. Canada followed and decided last summer that legalization will take place on October 17 this year.

In the United States, drugs are banned at the federal level. But about half of the states have created their own rules. In at least eight countries, cannabis is permitted or on the road, including the largest population in California. Numerous others, including the third most endangered Florida, approve medical use.

Many other countries allow marijuana under certain circumstances. In the EU, Denmark and Portugal have recently changed the rules in a more acceptable way.
