series Argentinian joker and cartoonist Guillermo Mordillo has died, reports the Spanish daily Diario de Mallorca. He became known for his characteristic style and drawing long-necked figures with large snoring noses. He liked to draw animals, mainly giraffes, and during the seventies he was one of the most widespread sketchers in the world.
In Sweden, his animations were recurring elements of SVT "Gomorron Sweden". The short films did not contain any dialog and, therefore, could be shown in many countries. He was popular in France, among other places, where he also achieved his progress with comics in newspapers such as Le Pelerin and Paris Match.
He moved to Mallorca in 1980, but also lived in Monaco. Guillermo Mordillo was 86 years old.
