Dnata, one of the largest air service providers in the world, has launched its complex at Manchester Airport “Dnata City North”, with an investment of 30 million pounds.

The new facility has a good location with easy access to the aircraft parking lot and includes a storage area of 125,000 square feet and can support more than 150,000 tons of cargo annually.

It is also equipped with state-of-the-art technologies aligned with the highest industry standards to ensure efficient and safe handling of all types of goods, including medicines, perishable products, dangerous goods, aircraft engines and vehicles.

The “Dnata City North” complex includes a center for perishable drugs and materials, which provides customers with safe and reliable cold chain shipping solutions to deal with heat-sensitive products, including “Covid-19” vaccines.

The design of the facility took into account the flexibility and compliance with product handling requirements to use the latest technologies. The center’s cold storage areas are modular, allowing teams of workers to manage variable handling requirements with customized capabilities to control the environment.

Digital monitoring systems facilitate real-time management of all areas and the complex also contains 25,000 square feet for offices, meetings and social activities.

Dnata has invested heavily in infrastructure, equipment and advanced technology in recent years, consolidating its position as a leading provider of air transport services in the UK.

These investments included the opening of ‘dnata City East’, a new export facility at London Heathrow, which has dramatically increased cargo capacity at the UK’s busiest airport.
