279 people with “crown” were admitted to hospitals

The largest number of new confirmed cases of coronavirus were detected in Kiev: 228 infected.

Over the past day, 598 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus have been registered in Ukraine. This is three times higher than yesterday, the Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday 20 July.

“Among the sick: children – 23 health workers – 13. Also during the past day: hospitalized – 279 people, dead – 25, recovered – 540 people,” – said in the message.

Over the last day, the highest number of confirmed cases was recorded in the regions of Kiev (228), Donetsk (48), Odessa (35), Sumy (35) and Luhansk (35).

In total, during the pandemic period in Ukraine, 2,245,275 people fell ill, 2,181,925 people recovered and 52,756 died.
