Ten people died on a small plane on Sunday morning at Addison Airport, according to the authorities.
The twin-engine Beechcraft BE-350 King Air had just left when it crashed into a hangar at 9 in the morning, according to the spokesman of the Federal Aviation Administration Lynn Lunsford. The fire destroyed the plane.
Everyone on board the plane died, according to the spokesman for the city of Addison, Mary Rosenbleeth.
The authorities have not published information about the identities of the people who died. Officials were in the process of communicating with the family members of the victims, he said.
The hangar was not busy at the time of the accident. Lunsford said the plane could hold about a dozen people.
